Introduction
The RICE STYLE SHOP HARADA, which opened in August 2022 inside the Ichihino Onsen area, is a new style rice specialty store owned by a rice master in Japan.
It was a long-established rice store in the city and was remodeled by Mr. Takumi Harada, the third generation of the store. It now becomes a gathering place for tourists!
You can buy Japanese rice or even rice-related products here, such as tableware and chopsticks. There is also the experience of cooking rice in a traditional rice pot. You can cook the most perfect rice on the Sakurajima lava stove. After the experience, you will be served the rice and miso soup and also pickled vegetables, which is definitely a simple and satisfying meal during the journey. The rest of the rice will be made into rice balls and packed into a bento. The gelato in rice flavor is also a must-try item here!
